IAGA Committees
IAGA would not be able to succeed in its annual objectives without the support of its many committees who donate their time and expertise to support our ongoing initiatives. To learn more about each of our Committees, select the individual link below. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact Executive Director Kirsten Clark.

IAGA's Audit Committee works with the outside auditors for IAGA, reviews the annual audit, addresses any management issues noted by the auditors and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees for any changes in policies or procedures related to financial matters or internal controls. The Committee is co-chaired by Thomas Roche and Scott Schweinfurth.

Our Regional Advisory Committees oversee our initiatives within the AmericasEurope and Asia Pac to:

  • Help grow IAGA’s regional membership by identifying new members for each of our advisory segments (legal, advisory, financial, operational, manufacturing, regulatory)
  • Help secure annual and regional event sponsorships that support our members in the region
  • Support the region's unique interests and needs by identifying timely topics for discussion that can be discussed on webinars, in media editorial and at IAGA supported conferences
  • Drive other initiatives and member participation in the region and advise on our support of regional trade show conferences

The International Gaming Summit Conference Program Committee plans and coordinates the IAGA International Gaming Conference program, recruits as speakers key gaming industry leaders and regulators from around the world, and ensures that each year's topics address cutting edge and current issues involving all facets of the gaming industry and the regulation of gaming.

The IAGA Nominating Committee solicits nominations from the membership for members of the organization to be nominated for election to the Board of Trustees of IAGA and nominations for persons to be elected as officers of the organization.

The Regulator Relations Committee assists IAGA with reaching out to gaming regulators, those who are members the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and those who are not, and develops ideas and submits recommendations to the Board of Trustees to foster stronger relationships between IAGA and regulators, including attendance and participation at IAGA’s conferences and other events.

The Shannon Bybee Scholarship Award Committee coordinates the solicitation of student written scholarly papers and selection of first and second place winners from among the participants who are honored with cash awards in addition to recognition.
