IAGA Announces 2023 International Gaming Summit in Belfast, Northern Ireland

Summit will be held June 20 – 22, 2023 at the Culloden Estate and Spa

The International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) will hold its 40th International Gaming Summit Tuesday, June 20 through Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Culloden Estate and Spa in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As a premier event that brings together leaders from all global gaming sectors, the Summit will provide operators, suppliers, attorneys, investors, bankers, regulators and other advisor delegates with an unparalleled opportunity to meet and discuss the most important issues facing gaming.

Each day’s conference sessions will be followed by social events featuring regional cuisine and the warm hospitality for which Ireland is so well known. On Tuesday, June 20, IAGA will host a Welcome to Northern Ireland reception in Belfast’s magnificent City Hall that opened in 1906, 18 years after Queen Victoria granted Belfast the status of a city. The following evening, conference delegates will have the opportunity to explore the iconic pubs located in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter and enjoy a variety of live music, traditional Irish pub fare and lessons on how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness for those so inclined.

On Thursday, June 22, the Summit will conclude with an exclusive, very special President’s reception and dinner held at Hillsborough Castle, the official Northern Ireland residence of the British Royal Family. The evening will begin with a champagne reception where guests can experience the castle at their leisure, followed by dinner in the royal gardens. Providing an unmatched opportunity to mingle in the same spaces enjoyed by His Majesty King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family, the Summit’s President’s Dinner will be an evening not to be missed.

“I am very pleased to host IAGA’s 40th Annual International Gaming Summit in Belfast, a vibrant and growing city in Northern Ireland with a rich culture and history,” commented Ellen Whittemore, IAGA President and Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Wynn Resorts. “In keeping with our organization’s longstanding tradition of combining unparalleled education with exceptional networking opportunities, next year’s program will focus on gaming issues of international relevance and will be developed in collaboration with several of our members and conference partners. I look forward to welcoming our delegates to Belfast, introducing them to Northern Ireland and participating with them in lively discussions about the critical issues and opportunities facing global gaming.”

Whittemore continued: “I’m also pleased to announce that on June 19, we will offer several optional social events that will provide attendees with the opportunity to visit Northern Ireland’s north coast. These optional events will include a golf tournament on Port Stewart Golf Club’s Strand course, private tours and tastings at Bushmills Distillery, and numerous bespoke tours of the Giant’s Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede bridge. We will provide additional details on these options shortly, and encourage our delegates to take advantage of the opportunity to visit this beautiful part of the country.”
