The Sponsorship Committee 
guides IAGA’s annual sponsorship offerings and strategy; helps identify underrepresented industry segments that can be targeted for engagement and sponsorship; looks for ways to increase membership engagement in driving sponsorship support; and solicits input from Board of Trustees on how to increase participation and involvement. 




         

WILLIAM DOWNEY, Chair, is Co-chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Gaming group, Bill Downey has built a reputation as one of the most respected attorneys in the gaming industry. With more than 25 years of experience in the Atlantic City and Pennsylvania markets, Bill has been counseling mid-Atlantic casinos and other participants in the casino and hospitality industries on the regulatory, corporate and real estate aspects of their ventures. He has extensive experience in the prosecution of license applications before regulatory bodies, operational issues and financing transactions. His unique combination of experience in these areas is beneficial as European companies look to expand and partner with companies in the U.S. 

          SANTIAGO ASENSI is the Managing Partner of Asensi Abogados, an expertise law firm in the Gaming and Gambling sector with offices in Spain (Madrid and Majorca) and Colombia (Bogota). Asensi provides legal advice to a large number of gambling operators (online and terrestrial), software providers, slot suppliers with interests located in Spain, Europe and Latin America as well as to gaming jurisdictions. Santiago is included in the Gaming & Gambling section of the independent and leading publication Chambers Global ("Band 1"), being mentioned as "a pioneer" in his field, "an obvious go-to guy for gaming advice" and "has built a strong reputation over a number of years".




          JUSTIN FRANSSEN is an attorney at law and partner at Kalff Katz & Franssen, where he leads the Gaming & gambling Practice Group. His comprehensive advisory and litigation practice regularly deals with sector-specific acquisitions and complex public affairs processes. Prior to his admission to the Dutch Bar, Justin acted as general counsel for a gaming developer in Amsterdam and New York. His career as an attorney at law began at an associate firm of KPMG, where he founded their European Gaming & Entertainment Services Group.


          TRAVIS FOLEY is Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer, and Executive Vice President - North America for BMM Testlabs, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Service Delivery teams in North America and Canada. Most recently he spent over 13 years with the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s Technology Division where he was involved in the creation of regulations and standards for new technologies such as server-based gaming, system supported gaming, and mobile gaming.
