  • altIAGA General Counsel and MGM Resources International Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary John McManus Raises Over $40,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. To raise money for childhood cancer research, John McManus participated in the 2015 St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser held at the New York, New York Casino in Las Vegas to raise funds for childhood cancer research and raised over $40,000 by shaving his head and his beard.

  • altGo Red For Women: IAGA President and Scientific Games General Counsel and Executive Vice President Katie Lever chaired the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Luncheon February 27 at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. More than 400 people attended this annual event, which brings together the Southern Nevada community to raise awareness, share heart disease survivor stories, and ultimately combat the disease which is the no. 1 killer of women. This year’s Las Vegas Go Red For Women Luncheon raised $399,177, which is a record in the Las Vegas Chapter of the American Heart Association’s 10-year history, and exceeds their 2015 goal by $75,000or 23 percent. “The Go Red For Women Luncheon is an amazing opportunity to raise awareness and build advocacy in our community,” Lever said. “The overwhelming support we receive ensures that we can continue to battle cardiovascular disease and work to protect women’s hearts through research and education.”
